Keys to a Healthy Diet Plan
Many experts advise us to adopt a healthy diet plan but what is a healthy diet. They tell us to eat low-fat items, so I look for low-fat items at the supermarket. They tell us cut out sugar consumption, so I look for low sugar items. You throw up your hands “what am I to do?A basic “rule of thumb” to healthy eating is to avoid these processed foods as much as possible. They don’t belong in a healthy diet plan. The food manufacturers jump on the newest scientific discoveries on nutrition and slap a pretty label on the packaging. They proclaim such things as low-fat and load them with high-fructose corn syrup. The label reading low sugar likely contains unhealthy fats. This is deceptive marketing at its worst.
