While I’m not fond of the title Fat Loss 4 Idiots, the only thing that matters is whether it works or not. It promises a weight loss of 9 pounds in 11 days. That’s just a little less than a pound of weight loss a day.

What we are concerned about here is:

  • Is it easy to follow?
  • Do you lose the weight it promises?

First of all, there is a regular and vegetarian option. That’s definitely an added bonus.

There is one day where all you will eat is fruits and vegetables. This appears to be a body cleansing period of the diet.

You basically eat one food per meal providing you with daily consumption of protein, carbohydrates, and fats. There are limited starchy carbs in the food options. The “Fat Loss 4 Idiots” diet appears to be a high protein, low carb diet with a different spin.

It is easy to follow. You choose your foods at the beginning and create your daily meal plans. Preparation of your food is simple as you are only eating one food per meal.

I should qualify my statement that it’s easy to follow. Eating the same 14 foods for 11 days does not sound like an enjoyable experience. Eating one food per meal is pretty boring as well. I have trouble believing this diet is sustainable of the long-term.
